Dr. Ken Glick is a 1969 graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. In 1970 he opened his office in Don Mills, a suburb of Toronto, where he has practiced ever since.

Anticipating the rapid changes coming in dental materials and techniques and the evolving needs of patients, Dr. Glick began focusing on esthetic and cosmetic dentistry in 1983. In 1987 he founded the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (TACD) and served as its President for seven years. The TACD is the largest professional organization devoted to cosmetic dentistry in Canada. During this period, Dr. Glick also served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). The AACD is the world's largest organization devoted to the art and science of cosmetic dentistry. In 1997, he was elected President of the AACD serving from 1997 to 1998.

In 1989, Dr. Glick's artistic ability and mastery of contemporary dental materials and techniques was recognized when the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry awarded him Accredited status. This was followed in 1991 by achieving Fellowship status in that organization. Dr. Glick is one of only two Canadians to have achieved this highest level of recognition and one of only thirty-five dentists worldwide to do so.

Additional recognition followed. In 1995, Dr. Glick received Fellowship in the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. In October 2002, Dr. Glick is to be recognized for his contributions to the field of cosmetic dentistry by the International Federation for Esthetic Dentistry in a ceremony to be held at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

As well as his practice and organizational activities, Dr. Glick is an educator and author on various topics in the field of cosmetic dentistry. He was the founding Course Director for the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at Baylor College School of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and is currently a guest lecturer at the School of Dentistry, State University of New York - Buffalo. In addition Dr. Glick lectures widely in Canada, the United States and abroad. He has also published articles in various professional journals such as Dentistry Today, the Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Compendium of Cosmetic Dentistry. Recognized as an authority on cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Glick was recently featured in articles in the National Post newspaper and Elevate magazine.

As if that isn't enough, Dr. Glick also serves as an advisor on dental materials to several dental manufacturing companies.

Dr. Glick and his wife, Shelley, live in Thornhill, Ontario with their two children, Tamara and Jesse and their two cats, Basil and Sheba.
